EPD Participates in OSHA’s Inaugural Safe + Sound Week

At EPD safety is a part of our values, our culture, and our consciousness. 

EPD will be demonstrating commitment to safety by participating in OSHA’s inaugural Safe + Sound Week, June 12th through June 18th. What is OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week?  It is a nationwide event to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs.  We are excited to participate in this first year, because it supports our existing values and highlights the importance of safety and ongoing awareness for everyone. 

At our All Hands Meeting on June 7th, we distributed new uniforms to show our commitment to Safe + Sound Week.  We chose training on HIPP (Heat Illness Protection Program) as our theme and distributed items to support prevention of Heat Illness, such as sunscreen and visors.
